The debut album by Wish Inflicted, When Something Burns This Bright, has been released on iTunes and in stores as of 11.11.11. The official release show is scheduled for Saturday, 12.17.11, 9pm, at the Starry Plough in Berkeley, with guests Pine and Battery, plus Fleeting Trance. Tickets available at the door.

When Something Burns This Bright contains 14 full-length, original songs, co-produced by Wish Inflicted and Scott Llamas. The album was recorded at PopSmear Studios in San Rafael, California, and tracking for this project was completed in Summer of 2011. Mastering was performed on August 30th & 31st, 2011 at Loud and Clear Mastering (at PopSmear). Graphic design for the CD package was created by TheDesignStudio at Discmakers; photo credits in the album artwork go to Benjamin Boyd Photography and E. Simbirdi.
